The A&D fx-i Series boasts the smallest footprint among most balances in its class. The 25% smaller footprint allows for more efficient use of bench space, while maintaining the same capacities as larger top-loading balances. The improved Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS) technology in the fx-i uses half the current of full-size top-loaders, enabling the optional battery to last up to 8 hours on a single charge.

The fx-i series offers standard RS-232 connectivity and the new Statistical Calculation Function (SCF), which provides statistical data display or output for the weighed samples. These balances feature 12 different weighing units and offer percentage and counting functions, making them versatile tools for various applications.
